Every year around Autumn time, Starbucks adds the increasingly popular Pumpkin Spice Latte to it’s menu and leading up the the Christmas holiday period they also make a lot of noise about their seasonal Red Cups.
Well, even though I still have a Late Summer Vacation to take, the evenings are starting to draw in and Pumpkin Spice Latte is back on the menu.
At Starbucks Eastbourne there were signs reminding people of this seasonal beverage and a small amount of Halloween inspired decoration has been sprinkled around the store.
Along with Eggnog Lattes, the Pumpkin Spice has been one of my cold weather favourites so I decided to use up a loyalty reward and indulge myself.
As usual Starbucks Eastbourne was very busy with a younger clientele than it’s competetors but service was swift and cheerful from the hard working staff.
The Pumpkin Spice Latte is price at £3.25/£3.55/£3.75 for the 3 sizes but my reward after collecting 15 stars meant I would have the Venti size free of charge.
My Hand Crafted beverage was served up in one of the new take away Autumn Design Cups which looks ready for some DIY colouring – in. A nice touch by the designers perhaps.
Some customers specifically wanted those cups more than the drinks themselves. I imagine the Red Cups will be rolled out in a couple of months as usual.
The WiFi was working effectively as it usually does here and I was able to get myself a small table.
The only let down was that as you sometimes get with these flavoured brews, some of the mix had settled at the bottom. I must remember to give it a bit of a stir next time.
Overall though I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Cheers Den
