On the corner of the main square in C’an Pastilla is Café Troyen, a busy 60’s style Mediterranean Café.
When I visited on a Sunday at noon they had about 30 customers (More drinking beer than coffee). There was Spanish 2nd division football on 3 TV screens while some middle of the road music was also playing. The outside seating was also being used this sunny day and some of the locals were reading newspapers and enjoying bar snacks.
I ordered a Latte @ € 1.40 which was quite strong as it had a regular espresso shot in a small glass.
There was quite a good atmosphere about the place.
Some kids were playing football in the square which sometimes has a popular market. Before leaving I took a look of the pictures on the wall highlighting Café Troyen’s participation in the community.
A good Café, worth a visit.
Cheers Den
